Stage to Screen Acting Class

Dennis O'NeillDennis O’Neill, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, and director. He has earned over 160 film and TV shows to his resume. His project, Bail Out, has received over 66 statuette awards for Best Web Series, Best Actor, Producer, Director, and Writer.

Dennis started his career as a singer and ballroom dancer. He never wanted to be an actor but was low on funds; he was talked into his first acting role when offered two hundred dollars to play a rock n roll singer on the road in a low-budget film. That role made him a legitimate card-holding actor in the Screen Actors Guild, which was a necessity to work as an actor in NYC. Dennis went on to work in over thirty musical and dramatic stage plays and nearly three hundred theatrical films, TV shows, commercials, and industrial films. He was on some of the most famous sound stages in TV Soap Operas, One Life to Live, Ryan’s Hope, The Edge of Night, The Guiding Light, Texas, Anne Lockhart (Lost in Space), and many more.

Dennis began teaching acting in 1995. He opened the Dennis O’Neill School of Acting in 1999, producing working actors, writers, producers, and directors and creating film productions alongside him. His students are a part of the ensemble cast in his shows.
