Before making it as an author and screenwriter, Chuck Hustmyre was a SWAT sniper and federal agent specializing in violent crime, narcotics and fugitive investigations. Currently his screenwriting credits include “House of the Rising Sun” with Dave Bautista in his first starring role, the 2020 neo-western “Disturbing the Peace” starring Guy Pearce, and “End of a Gun” with Steven Seagal. Chuck has sold or optioned many other screenplays, authored seven books (including the Penguin bestseller “Killer with a Badge”), and currently has four films in development.
