Planning for the 9th Annual Boomtown Film and Music Festival is well underway, so we wanna make sure your calendars are ready: February 25 – 27, 2016. Plug it in. We’ll wait.
Ok, got that scheduled? Good. Let’s talk about 2016.
First off, the most beloved BoomFest traditions are being protected. Here are some of many things you can expect if you’re one of our loyal patrons:
- 48 Hour Film Race
- Award Ceremony, including our cute gusher award
- Several stages of awesome music
- At least two screens showcasing independent film
- Locally crafted arts and wares
Plus, we’re keeping many of 2015’s innovations:
- Historic Jefferson Theater as a venue
- Cult classic film screening, like 2015’s Monty Python and the Holy Grail
- Outdoor music stage
- Being able to eat & drink throughout the festival
And as always, you’ll be seeing quite a bit of new at 2016’s event. We can’t divulge much yet, but all will be revealed… starting tomorrow!
